Ethan Locy is a writer-director drawn to lyrical, human, and folkloric stories.

Raised in Brooklyn and based in Nashville, he directs short films and series alongside select music video and commercial work. His thesis film The Slide Rock Screecher screened at LA Shorts International Film Festival (Oscar/BAFTA-qualifying) and was a Finalist at the London Director Awards (2025). He also co-created Downhaven, a mystery-thriller web series produced during his final years at Biola University.

His work blends the fantastical with the grounded, creating worlds that feel familiar and otherworldly, held together by a shared humanity and eternal hope. He is currently developing his first feature film & TV pilot.
