Ethan Locy is a writer-director drawn to lyrical, folkloric, and spooky stories.

Raised in Brooklyn and based in Nashville, he directs short films and series alongside select music video and commercial work. His thesis film “The Slide Rock Screecher” screened at LA Shorts International Film Festival (Oscar-qualifying) and was a Finalist at the London Director Awards (2025). While completing his studies at Biola University's film program, he co-created and directed “Downhaven,” a six-part mystery/thriller web series.

His work blends the fantastical with the grounded, creating worlds that feel familiar yet otherworldly. He is currently in development on his next web series and an original TV pilot.
